This free XProtect Mobile app gives you secure access to your Milestone video surveillance system anytime, anywhere from your smartphone or tablet. Available in 31 languages the application lets you conveniently view live video, play back and export recorded video, listen to audio and speak through the camera-connected speakers using the Push-To-Talk button. Compatible with XProtect Corporate, XProtect Expert, XProtect Professional+, XProtect Express+, XProtect Essential+, and the Milestone Husky NVR series. App is great! One annoying thing: Stop hiding the top of the image with the name bar, I drag the image down all the time to see whats up there! Also it would be nice to be able to re-arrange the cameras from the app, without being able to pre-sort it alphabetically

All the features work like a dream interface is simple and easy to use.

Just started selling this software, after 10-15 deployments Im very impressed with the entire system for the price.

Some bad moments

I have iPad 2, I installed the app, I see the first screen but after few seconds app closed alone

They doesnt work with iOS 9 I already uninstalled and installed again and again and doesnt work and I try to configure in many ways and in the correct way too, but this app doesnt work since the last update and the guys from McAllen City doesnt do anything to fix this issue with iOS

In general this app has been great, but they broke some important functionality in this latest update: Normally when viewing video full screen on iPhone, you have one level of resolution / quality displayed, and then when you 2-finger zoom in, it just scales that same image up (which doesnt add any detail) for a split second before it bumps up the resolution and starts showing you more detail in the zoom area. With this latest update (or recent updates), it now just keeps the same initial full screen resolution, so when you zoom in you dont get any additional detail from the higher camera resolution. That is a huge problem! I can no longer see fine details from my high res cameras through zoom. Please fix this, Milestone! This latest update also seems to drop connection to the server quite often, sometimes after just 5-10 seconds of watching recorded video. The versions from 6 months ago were far more solid.

This is a mobile interface to onme of the most expensive professional VMS solutions. Yet, the app looks and feels like it was designed by a high school student. 1. No persistent connection on minimize 2. Controls do not fade out and continue to obscure top 15% of the screen in landscape mode 3. No ability to rearrange anything in the layout from the app 4. No push notifications from the app 5. No Apple Watch or Apple TV 4 support 6. No "Contact Support" from the app, with prefilled diagnostics and account information embedded 7. No ability to easily export mobile feed to iOS-native formats, which would make it easier to share 8. Still no centralized cloud backup subscription (not limited to Milestone app, of course.) Should something catastrofic happen to your site, would be nice to retrieve last 10 hours from the cloud-optimized storage. No option for that, even with tiered payment options. 9. No ability to grant limited guest access, via invitation to download the app and install a customized profile for password-less access to specific cameras, limited by time at owners discretion. That is, cant easily let someone else have immediate access to your system via mobile device. Did I mention Apple Watch? Just live view of one cam at a time, with an auto-sized and optimized stream would be really handy.

Needs Notification Center widget, split view & Spotlight search to bring up a camera instantly. Its tedious to open the open, select a view, then a camera, etc. No audio support. No push notifications. Expensive license. See review from VirtualPanther for more.

Finally - Ive been waiting for this for very long time. Works flawlessly. Nice controls
